I have finally come to the place thought I'd never find
And it feels so free to have this peace deep inside
And I give thanks to my God for giving me courage everyday
     to face all my fears.

Seemed like forever that I felt deep in despair
But I prayed to my God to give me strength for each day
And I prayed that His love would hold me until I could feel
     that I was enough.

There is a calm deep in my soul that I have found
And now I know in my heart that I'm okay just as I am
And I give thanks to my God for giving me hope along the way,
     to never give up.

Because there were many times I would crawl back into the hole
And I would feel the pain of inflicting wounds from my past
And I would hear the cries from my inner child begging please
     to give her a voice.

So I prayed to my God to help me walk through all of the fear
And He heard my cries of inflicting wounds from my past
And He held me so tight and gave me His love until I could feel
     that "I am enough"
